Royal Visit

In 2012, Kilkenny had a special visit from King Charles and Queen Camilla (then Prince and Princess). They toured our school as King Charles had a keen interest in the Environment and our work with the Kitchen Garden Program. Our students cooked their Royal Highnesses a meal of risotto, which King Charles described as "frighteningly good". They even planted the tree that sits near our Preschool / Admin / Science buildings!

QBE Advertisement

In 2019, a group of our senior students, and their families, were involved in a national commercial for QBE insurance. This involved over 5 days of shooting and a poster campaign. It was a memorable experience, one in which the students fondly remember today.
