Principal's Welcome

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to Kilkenny Preschool and School. 

Kilkenny P-6 is more than a school - it's our community. We sit proudly at the heart of our local community and it is a safe, inclusive and collaborative learning environment where everyone is known and belongs. 

Our purpose is to empower and nurture our community to be thriving learners, compassionate citizens and positive contributors to their world. This is articulated in our school motto - Hearts, Minds and Community. 

Our commitment is to ensure Kilkenny students grow into well-rounded humans. This is achieved through a balanced educational program that engenders positive wellbeing, secures foundational skills in literacy and numeracy, instils learning competencies and dispositions and offers diverse learning experiences and co-curricular opportunities beyond the classroom.

Our school offers enrolment for preschool and mainstream school, eligible special options students and an Intensive English program for newly arrived students to Australia. An Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) service and Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program are offered and are important educational programs in our school.
